Install the SafeAccess server

This section documents the creation of the SafeAccess server userid and the installation of the SafeAccess product server code.
Step 1: Create the CP directory entry for the SafeAccess server.
Use the directory management program at your site to add the SAFEACC server directory entry to your system. The sample directory entry file SAFEACC DIRECT on the work mdisk may be used as a sample to update your source directory.
Step 2: Format the SAFEACC mdisks.
Use the CMS FORMAT command to format each of the SAFEACC mdisks listed in the SAFEACC DIRECT file. Following is a list of the mdisks to format and the suggested blocksize:
191 4K - (Local)
192 4K - (Code)
ADD 4K - (SACDC)
DBA 1K - (Data Base)
Step 3: Copy SafeAccess from the work disk to the SAFEACC server.
Copy all files from the work mdisk to the SAFEACC 192 mdisk.
Step 4: Format the work mdisk for re-use
Use the CMS FORMAT command to format the work mdisk so that it may be re-used later when installing the SafeAccess HTML Documentation..
Step 5: Copy files to the SafeAccess local mdisk.
Copy the following user modifiable files from the SAFEACC 192 (Code) mdisk to the SAFEACC 191 (Local) mdisk:
SACPROF SACEXEC (Rename this file to PROFILE EXEC)
Step 6: Copy files to the SafeAccess Database mdisk.
Copy the following files from the SAFEACC 192 mdisk to the SAFEACC DBA mdisk:
SAFEACC SAMPCNTL (rename this file to SAFEACC CONTROL)
SAFEACC SAMPMDSK (rename this file to SAFEACC MDISK)
SAFEACC SAMPDLNK (rename this file to SAFEACC DLINK)
Step 7: Automate SafeAccess server startup.
Each time the operating system is IPLed the SafeAccess server needs to be automatically logged onto the system after the SafeAccess CP Component is loaded into CP. Step 2 in the next section, Install the SafeAccess CP Component includes instructions that cause the SafeAccess CP component to be loaded automatically at each IPL and also to AUTOLOG the SafeAccess server (SAFEACC).
The SafeAccess server code has now been installed. Continue the installation process by following the steps in the next section, "Install the CP Component".
